Thanks for stopping by! My name is Kelsey and I'm currently a PhD candidate in the Composition and TESOL program at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. I'm excited you're thinking about applying to graduate school, and I hope you find this website a useful resource.
A little more about me: As the end of the undergraduate career approached, I planned on applying to MFA programs. Creative writing had always been my passion. To make a long story short, I didn't have the support of certain professors to make that happen. Instead, I pursued a Masters in English at my undergraduate institution with the intention of using the two years to explore Composition and Rhetoric. Tutoring in the writing center had piqued my interest in researching teaching and tutoring.
It quickly became clear that Composition and Rhetoric was definitely the field for me. I decided to go for my PhD--but this time, I wanted to be more methodical and organized about the process. I called it, "Project: Get into Grad School." This website is an expanded version of my process. Hopefully, it will work as well for you as it did for me!
